My background is varied, and includes commercial photography, web design and development, animation, video production and education. This work has been largely helping people and companies tell their own stories.

This experience has helped me to develop a keen eye for detail, colour, and natural light, in an effort to create original imagery with a true sense of place and time in the areas of travel, landscape, architecture, and still life.

Using these skills and passing them on to students have been equally rewarding, and the images you see on this folio are a small representation of a need to keep experimenting, developing and interpreting the visual world around us.

This is an investigation of skills and techniques, but also recording time and place in an effort to develop my own story telling. 

​
